Urbanest Quay Street springs into action with the launch of uLife rearing into gear.
The residents welcomed the arrival of New York University (NYU) customers by hosting a massive barbeque in the courtyard, introducing them to current residents and the festivities Sydney has to offer, ending in a fantastic night out generously hosted by Sidebar. It was fantastic to see that many Urbanesters had already introduced themselves to the NYU students, showing just how welcoming Urbanest is and how social events are important in connecting residents from a variety of backgrounds, universities and courses
The NYU barbeque was just a start to a busy and fun-filled month of uLife events. Trivia night was a blast with only a few points dividing the top contenders. First prize eventually went to the ‘Knockers’, closely followed by ‘The Village People’ and finally ‘Paarth and the boys!’. It was a fun night with a controversial Cristo Redentor (Statue of Christ the Redeemer) question, which brought out the frustration in everyone. It was challenging for all and has set the bar high for next month’s trivia.
It’s also great to see the growing number of residents attending the heart of Urbanest Quay Street’s social scene, the weekly Friday Night Barbeque and Monday Waffle Night.
Urbanest Quay Street is certainly geared up to spring into next month, with plenty of cultural and entertaining events on come.
