Thursday Fitness with uLife

Stay fit & healthy by getting active with F45  

You probably have an idea that exercise is good for your physical health and you’ve most probably also heard that “30 minutes a day will keep the doctor away.” However, if you’re like most people, that’s sometimes not enough motivation for you to get your sweat on, day-in, day-out!

We are excited to announce that as part of uLife’s Fitness Thursday this week, the fit-spo team at F45 Bulimba, will be bringing a virtual training session exclusively to all our Urbanesters!


These are the values of F45. Their training workouts are designed to unify the muscle groups of the body and to help make you feel and perform better in all aspects of your life – who doesn’t need that right now?

The exclusive training session on Thursday 30 April 2020, will kick off at:

  • 4 pm for our Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne Residents, and
  • 3.30 pm for our Adelaide Residents!

To join in the fun, jump onto the resident portal and click on the registration link in the uLife calendar on our new digital uLife portal. Make sure you complete the registration form by midday on Thursday. Once you complete the form, you will receive an email from F45 you’re your access link prior to the session scheduled for that afternoon. 

But wait, there’s more….by joining the live session on Thursday, you will go in the draw to win 1 of 5, six week passes for their new on-line program. 

As Australia and the world faces one of the most significant health challenges, during these unprecedented times, our primary focus is your health and wellbeing.

As we all know, only all too well, our daily lives and routines have been disrupted by the social distancing restrictions, so we hope you find these Thursday Fitness resources helpful to assist you navigate these unsettling times. ​​

It is more important than ever to take care of yourself and stay healthy!

Why? Because, exercise not only supports your physical health but also supports your immune system to help fight off infection. When practicing social distancing and keeping to your room at Urbanest, it is all too easy to fall out of a daily exercise routine and watch Netflix instead. We hope that Fitness Thursday is motivational and a nice reminder to help you keep up your daily workouts! Set up a space within your room and continue to sweat it out with an online workout. 

Don’t let your hard work go to waste! 

Amongst your studies you may have spent the weeks and months, sweating it out in the Urbanest onsite gyms. Just because you don’t have access to our state of the art gyms, doesn’t mean you can’t keep up with your training routine. We have all felt the effects of returning to the gym after having some time off—it’s tough. The great news is that each week uLife and Thursday Fitness brings you an in-room workout session so you can continue to work towards your goals from the comfort of home. Remember that time you achieved your very first push-up on your toes or ran an entire 5 kms on the treadmill without stopping? Let your achievements be your motivation and don’t lose momentum. While the setting may look a little different during these strange times of COVID-19, you can still grind it out.
